As part of a mapping workshop organized every Thursday afternoon by the university, I was able to be involved in the creation of a giant mapping show. These workshops were supervised by the artist Caillou (known for his mappings on the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, etc). Our group of6 students elaborated throughout the year a show themed to nature and with the purpose to show the impact of Man on it. We thus thought about the different sequences that would constitute this 30 min show.
On my side, I have been involved in the elaboration of the 10 minpreshow but also in the making and editing of a sequence of my invention. This segment uses the double exposure technique (photos below) in order to mix human silhouettes with the ecological disasters we cause. I did this sequence 100%: from the green screen shots to the special effects. On the other hand, I also shot a dance sequence with a stabilizer.
The show was projected on a façade of the IUT of Toulon, on March 28, 2019 on the occasion of the University's spring event. About 800 people were present!
